They have a friendly staff, sanitary environment, inviting surroundings, excellent food, good menu variety, free wi-fi, and they serve as a good meeting place for people in the community. They also support local entrepreneurs and craftsman by carrying their merchandise in the store, so they help the local economy.

The people and coffee are both exceptional!!!! The owner is very friendly and makes it a point to make everyone feel welcome!!! The others that work there are always smiling and ready to help...it creates a very homey freindly environment for everyone that comes thru the door!!! I would tell everyone in the area to stop in for a cup of the best coffee around (Alterra) and the best friendliest service around :)

Beautifully restored historical bank into a coffee house in the downtown area of Plymouth, which is surrounded by antique shops, book stores, community parks, library, churches and walking trail. A perfect spot spend an hour, a day or a whole vacation! The staff and food are also excellent! There is always a daily special and the soup & smoothies are my favorite!
