I've been doing J.K.Lee Tae Kwon Do for two and a half years and i LOVE it! I've tried so many sports but martial arts is the only one that I've ever stuck with. J.K.Lee's Tae Kwon Do teaches discipline. It helped me get over my shyness and improve in all aspects of my life.

My daughter was having such a hard time with finding things she was good at mainly due to having borderline weight issues. She did not have a lot of stamina for sports like soccer, and she was born so solid, like her dad, that she wasn't very limber either so gymnastics were out too. She wasn't very graceful. We could tell she was sad and didn't feel like she fit anywhere. Then she went to a JK Lee outing for Brownies, and her leader approached me about how much she had gotten into doing Tae Kwon Do. We went in to have her work with the instructor, and she was awesome! For a 7 1/2 year old kid who didn't seem too athletic in any way, she did great! We signed her up immediately! Now my daughter is almost a high red belt. (Black belt within the next year.) She is on the Demo and Leadership teams. She has been in the sport for about a year and a half and has turned into a completely different child. She is very athletic. She has learned to be light on her feet and has an awesome positive attitude. She no longer feels left out or follows her friends. They follow her, and she, so I've been told by many of her friends' parents, is a great kid to follow. Thank you JK Lee! You have really changed our lives for the better!
The Lee family goes above and beyond to make you feel like you are family. There gyms and workouts are great, they help give students confidence, perserverance and help you realize it is not just a sport but a way of life. Grand Master Lee is a very nice man, and has built the school to reflect this, he passes on great wisdom and respect. We have great respect for the Lee's and the Academy. It is a great place to work out with your entire family, and wonderful stress reliever.
My husband and I and our four kids have been a part of the JK Lee Black Belt Academy for only one month, but we already feel like part of the family. The school is designed in such a way that beginners and advanced martial artists can learn and progress in their technique side by side. There are many class levels and times to suit the needs of our busy lifestyle. There are a variety of instructors and teaching styles. The classes are never boring or routine. The basic elements are stretching, punching and kicking techniques, strengthening and conditioning, forms, self-defense techniques, and sparring. Always, always there is emphasis on self-control and proper breathing and balance. The children are taught respect for parents and adults and execellence at home and school. My kids are always asking us when we can go to class. They can't get enough of it, and neither can we. The excellent instructors are a major source for this enthusiasm. My brothers were among Grandmaster Lee's first students in the mid-1970's. It is fun watching the next generation in our family, our kids and my brother's daughter, excel in this sport together. So it really has become a family tradition for us! Thanks so much JK Lee!
JK Lee TKD is an awesome place for kids and adults. My daughter has been going there for a little over a year now and loves it. She is a red belt now and can't wait to get her Junior Black Belt next June in 2009. JK Lee's is a great place for kids to learn disapline and respect towards others.
JK Lee is a great school for all types of people. The methods, program and philosophy of the school are such that they provide an exceptional character building facet to the young student, and at the same time provide intellectual and physical challenges to very serious students. My 7 and 11 year old have benefitted tremendously from the program. All schools promise the benefits of discipline, concentration and physical fitness. I believe JK Lee delivers on that promise...at an appropriate level for the needs of the particular student.
My son has been attending this school for a year and a half. The stress on teaching discipline has resulted in many amazed at his courtesy and respect for others.

JK Lee Black Belt Academy is an amazing place! The instructors are top notch! My children have learned valuable life lessons about doing the right things and always being the best that you can be; it's not about fighting, it is about becoming a better person. It is also a great workout (and stress reliever) for me plus a wonderful outlet for my childrens endless supply of energy! We think the chief instructor and his group of instructors at Pewaukee are absolutely fabulous. You can't find instructors more understanding of the attention and encouragement children need. They make the students feel like they belong and are so important while teaching them the tenents of Tae Kwon Do. We are so thankful they live out their tenents and oath daily and we are so lucky to have them influencing our son's growth and development. We have run into Grand Master Lee around town and he has always taken time to say hello and talk with our son and our family. They truly run a wonderful school. I like what they have done for my son, I even joined as an adult!
