Lakefront Brewery is a locally-owned microbrewery specializing in handmade beers in the tradition of early Milwaukee brewers. Located along the Milwaukee river near downtown Milwaukee, Lakefront Brewery began in 1987 with only sixty barrels of production sold exclusively to taverns within rolling distance of the brewery.

Love this place!! The staff makes your experience enjoyable and the location is perfect. Excellent tours!! I have gone to almost all of the breweries in the state and this is the best one in my book. The guides are entertaining yet very knowledgable. And, oh yeah, the friday night fish fry is an awesome event.
It makes the best beer in the city, gives the best tour, and brings the best and most fun atmosphere for beer in Milwaukee. Everytime I've had friends/ family visit from out-of-town, I've taken them on a the tour. Its a must in the city of Milwaukee.
