A real slice of Milwaukee. If you're visiting Milwaukee I would recommend putting the Bomb Shelter on your must see list. Almost like a museum of beer history with all of the vintage beer signs. The only place in the city I know of displaying a water motion Hamm's sign. I was last in on a Tuesday and the DJ was playing some great old rockabilly tunes and the specials were amazing. I think the beer selection is now over 160 now..WOW!!!

Me and some buddies were just there this past tuesday, there Service Industry Night?? Wow!! A packed bar on a Tuesday?? Everyone was in good spirits, laughing, drinking, I spent $12 and was good to go! Plus they had a DJ, The bartender was hilarious and high fiving everyone through the door! I'm suggesting this place to everyone, a must see for sure!!

Nobody in town has a better Beer selection! Old school beer is great, but they've got the traditional stuff too, clean atmosphere, great decour, and wide screen tv's to enjoy the games. Great place. Late. B

This place has Pizza Beer! Gotta be the best selection in Wisconsin. Also just an overall fun bar filled with people out to have a good time. A must- visit while in Milwaukee.

My new Packer bar for all games...where were you guys the last 10 years! Super awesome place to watch a Packer game! The whole back half of the bar has Green Bay Packer logo carpet, and there is an entire wall of Packer stuff. Framed autographed photos of Bart Starr, David Whitehurst, The Magic Man, James Lofton, Brett Farve and more. Been there twice for games now, and they always have great free food during the game. Go Pack Go! Oh yeah and they have an incredible selection of beers, everything from retro beers I thought were not even made anymore, imports and micros from all over. Bomb Shelter gets an A+++ from me!

We happened upon this place this summer...very old school interior, reminded me of a few places "up nort" from back in the day when I was a kid. And even better than the retro interior is the beer selection. My beer snob husband was impressed by the quantity of quality micro brews. A fun place to stop for a cold one.

The Bomb Shelter is bar none the best pub in town. Great selection of old time beers, great staff and the ambiance is incredible. Greg Landig has really done an awesome job creating nostalgia!!!!

So I come downtown for Germanfest and eventually stop into this place. Holy crap. Every friggin' beer I ever saw in my grandparents' refridgerator is here. Then a polka band shows up. I didn't know polka songs were so dirty, or pickled eggs so good. What can I say, I recommend the place!

Ha, yeah Twinkies, Bomb Pops, old beer stuff, Packer carpeting, cool bartenders, just a really laid back fun place to go. Prices are mostly cheaper than other bars, they did a good job on the place!

Neat place, great atmosphere, unique decor, largest beer selection I've seen, and a beer tasting club every Wednesday. Oh and live Polka on Sundays!

Great spot. All the Harley Folks in town next week need to visit. Lots of old beer advertising, 130-some beers, cool bartenders, nice - clean - customers, etc. Remidns me of my uncle's place up in Hayward. Great stuff.

Northern Wisconsin style tavern in Milwaukee. Mounted deer heads, phesants, ducks, a bear, fish mounts, old beer advertisments, this place is honestly way cool. Awesome idea for a bar! I will be back! Hats off to you guys at The Bomb Shelter!

Just go. Great selection, great personality (the bar and the bartenders), perfect location for after-work, not to mention 2-4-1 deals! Someone else mentioned eye candy... OMG!
